Justification by faith
…In (4:9-16) Romans, Paul gives an explanation why Abraham is an example for justification by faith for both
Jesus and Gentiles. Abraham was declared righteousness before he was circumcised and he received the sign of circumcision
(the sign of righteousness) that God had created to Abraham for his faith while he was still uncircumcised. Therefore, we can
consider Abraham the father of all who believes but not just circumcised…
…We can also consider Abraham the father of those who are not just physically circumcised, but who also have
genuine faith, that Abraham had before he became circumcised. Thus, Abraham is an example for justification by faith for believing
Jews…
The purpose of God’s Law

to the importance of the death of Christ. But the Law still holy, just, good and plays significant role in the life of a believer
as a moral and ethical guide, because it is produced by God…
